Half of the airbrush work is done, after endless sanding and preperation work...new reinforcing on the tailpiece and side fairings...etc

The process is as follows...

2 layers of sanding primer to close off all pores

1 base coat of white to get an even colour distribution

2 layers of Ducatti red

3 layers of Gemini orange with tiny prisms that create a chameleon effekt and change colour from red to yellow, to lime green to orange, depending on the light source

4 layers of clear to protect the gemini

Wetsanding...

Airbrush art is applied

6-8 layers of clear to seal in the artwork

Colour sanding an polishing after a total of 20-22 fine layers of paint and roughly 85 hours of intense labour...
